you are off your head u quote only doing it to have baby but will put it back on what about getting healthy for life bringing your child up healthy be able to do sports with the baby u long for what kind of parent will u be a massive lazy can not be bothered well all i can say is you selfish if u only want to lose weight to get caught but not for ever what happens when u die young because your too fat then the baby u long for is without a mother get a reality check

Couple of years ago, I got really depressed and gained 50 pounds in a year. I stayed overweight for 2 years before taking Xenical and slowly changing my eating/exercising habits.
I took it for 5 months, and went from 212 pounds to 164 pounds during that time (48 pound loss), which could have been faster had I paid even more attention to eating, but yeah, I was pretty happy with the results.
Afterwards, the trick is to keep eating healthy and exercising at least moderately (a walk a day..) to keep those results.

i have a bit of advice for u you are loosing weight so quick and not useing a diet to do it when the doctors take u off the tablets and u get to ur weight u want to be when u start eating junk again u will pile the weight back on i know because i did this my self got down to 10 stone and piled 4 stone back on and i have to start again :(

hi, i was 18 stones and i was really ashamed of it coz i had never been this big i had tried many diets but all seemed to fail for me then i thought right i have to go and sort this weight problem out so i went to my GP so after consulting him he put me on xencial i was given them to help try to loose weight my GP told me to see him in 6 weeks time and advised me to eat healthy cut down on junk eat on time plan your 3 main meals and try not to munch in between and if you really have a crave try to have fruit or something sensible food so i took my GP advise and started my diet with xenical i planed my meals and i would have my 3 main meals with 3 xencial after 3-4 days they seemed to kick in my body as i went to the bath room to open my bowles i could just see all the fat and greese just come out i no it not nice to read something like this but i think you should know and then from that day it was the same when after 6 weeks i went back to my GP i had lost 5kgs in 6 weeks i was impressed and happy and im still now on them and they have seemed to work 4 me and im very happy with the results YES they do work if you have good healthy planned meals

Hi everyone i have been on these pills for 8 days and im 10lb lighter already :) however i have really stuck to the low calorie and low fat diet and thankfully i have not experienced any kind of leaking or weird poops that everyone talks about??! is this a good sign?? I wanted to lose 2 stone as i struggle with weight and me n my husband have got to have ivf and i need to be 2 stone lighter to do this :) which is the kick in the ass i needed really. I dont understand why people take these when eating take aways n such as the whole idea is to teach u what is good n bad for your body by seeing the dreaded side effects u can get :S   X

I can suggest something if your motobelic is slow than just take organic apple vinegar from Holland and Barrets just add two table spoon in your water and drink it through out the day it speeds it up... i have not tried Xenical yet i need follow the procedure before i get the drug... but i feel the same as you.. i have 15months old girl and have problem with the weight loss but apple vinegar works and plus green tea with it... hopefully you would get it off... and depression slows the weight loss down so take it easy and ur gud to goo...

yh ur right i got put on xenical orilstat and i lost a stone in a few months and dropped 3 dress sizes i am still currently on the tablets and can tell u i have never experienced leakages and you are right the more fatty stuff u eat the more weight you loose :) good luck to everyone taking or starting them i would recomend them to anyone they do WORK ! i was 16 stone and im now 15 stone and gonna keep at it untill i reach my goal of 13 stone thanks xx

Hi ya firstly I would like to say well done on your weight loss.. I have been taking these tablets for 3 weeks now when I was weighed at the doctors I was 79kg which is 174lbs, I haven't weighed myself since starting them as wanted to wait till I see the doctor for my review on the 20/02/13 I'm really nervous and praying that I have lost weight.. Family and friends have all said they have noticed that I've lost weight on my arms and face and back.. Really can't wait to get weighed.. Hi I have been taking Orlistat for a few days now. However the doctor didnt give me a diet sheet, so if anyone has one I would be grateful if you could share it.

What confuses me is that you are told to eat a low fat diet, but many of you are saying that by eating a bit more fat then you lose even more weight. I understand the principles of how these tablets work, but wish I had a diet sheet just as a starter.

I think I am tending to maybe go for lower fat foods (salads etc) than necessary to make best use of being on these tablets and to maximise weight loss.  I have ordered the Alli book from amazon today, but I think any advice from you guys on this forum of what kind of things you eat for your three meals would help.

You DO NOT EAT MORE FAT TO HELP THESER TABLETS WORK WHAT NONSENSE!

I have been on these tablets and within a month i had lost over a stone. I am currently on week 5 and get weighed each month.

My meals are cereal and coffee for breakfast soup or salad/pasta for lunch and dinner can be eitherof those or a low fat ready beal or jacket potato with a salad/veg with toppings you must also drink lots of water. Foods must not contain more than 5g of fat per 100g you can have most meats apart from pork or lamb and you cant have eggs or salmon although some people are ok with these
