im already half way through the Yaz bc pills and i totally hate them i just started taking these pills and have been feeling very nauseated during the night and during the day and have had a loss of appetite for the past three days. i know im not pregnant because ive taken two pregnancy tests that have both came out negative. if i was to stop taking these pills being already thru half of the pack would that affect me in any way as far as my menstrual cycle?
I have been on yaz for 5 days and I am already noticing big changes im my appetite. I'm loving it because I used to just always want to eat and I was always hungry but now even when I am hungry, I sometimes don't eve feel like eating. I like being able to feel in control of what I eat and not feel like I have to finish everything on my plate. I haven't really felt too nauseus except for the first mornings and it hasn't been too bad. I take mine at 9 pm and I might be sleeping through any of the bad appetite problems it causes.

Ive been on yaz for a few weeks, and i am miserable. I used yaz back when i was 16 and it did wonders for my acne, cramping and migranes! so now that im 19 and wanted to start back up again, i didnt think id have the issues ive been having. I dry heave everyday because my appetite has severely decreased * i can barely stomache a little toast all day long* and all that comes out it stomache acid. im moody because i dont feel good and because im really tired allllll the time! my boyfriend is bipolar and its hard enough dealing with his moodswings, but now i have to keep mine in perspective just to get through a normal day.
My boyfriend thinks im lying about feeling sick....simply because everyday he looks at me and thinks i look upset and asks me whats wrong and my response is "i dont feel good, i feel like im gonna through up..." and all he can say is "ive been hearing that an aweful lot from you lately..."
pfft....duh. thats because everyday i gag on stomache acid till ive worked up a sweat and am read in the face! >;)
I dont understand how yaz could have suited me so well 3 years ago but now its torture. ive been menstruating since i was 10yo soo, i dont think puberty has much to do with it...

all i have to say is f**k yaz, im finding something thats CHEAPER and that doesnt make me feel like sh*t or make me want to kill everyone i come in contact with!

I have swollen lymph nodes in my abdomen, I need some answers!!

I am a 14 y/o girl and was prescribed Yaz in jan.09 for my irregular and extremely crampy and painful periods - my gyno decided this would be a great option for me saying as I dont even have a bf so its only used for period control!!!! For the last 3 weeks I have been in severe pain in my right upper quadrant. The doctor thought it could be gallbladder disease; however, I have had 14 vials of blood drawn(all negative) 2 urine tests(again negative) 2 ultra sounds, an x-ray, and a CT scan which revealed a swollen lymph node. I have been doing research around the clock because I cannot eat anything without pain, I can hardly move, can't attend school, and am in constant pain. I have had many other symptoms as well and including: pain in my (mainly right) side and back and shoulder/blade area in the same position as on my abdomen, a cold feeling inside, fatigue, dry mouth, difficulty taking a deep breath, difficulty sleeping and becoming comfortable, sore muscles, vision changes, nausea, and random pain throughout my chest/abdomen. I am highly suspicious it may be related to my medication (Yaz). I have taken it for 8 months but I have since quit very recently, yet the pain and symptoms still persist!!!!. Can anyone help me? I am miserable!!!!!

honey, you need to stop taking birth control. you are to young for it. There are other things you can do to help with PMS symptoms. Exercising and keeping well hydrated and no caffine will do miracles for you. Get on line and look up natural ways to improve your symptoms of pms. Inless you are wanting to prevent pregnancy? Get off this medication. I went on birthcontrol as a young girl like you, messed me up for years. Now i am 32 and just had my first baby. I wanted to have a baby for many years. I am on yaz for just 3 months intill the procedure i had done takes effect. I am scared to death that i will end up with a blood clot that will cause me to have a stroke or die. I am a nurse, and see very young women admitted for blood clots due to birth control and not just this type. All your new symptoms are from this medication, it may take awhile to figure something out. but you will. you know your body the best. Ibprofen is a nice medications for cramps and back aches.

I took yaz for the first time yesterday, although yesterday was not the first day of my period.
I believe I was supposed to start within this week or early next week though.
How will this effect everything?
