Let’s hear something about your activities before you started running. I’ve been running for over two years now, and before that I used to go to a gym but I didn’t like it too much. After that I tried aerobics and pilates, but it was too complicated for me. And finally I decided to try running. It was hard in the beginning. Now I’m satisfied with its effects. How about you?

The same here! I was reluctant to start running because it seemed like a monotonous activity. Besides, when I was a kid I was the worst runner in my class and I always ended up the last and with a severe pain under my left rib. That’s when I started having very unpleasant associations about running. But when I grew up and decided to start with a physical activity, I realized that working out and weight lifting were not for me. Then I practiced aikido for a couple of months but I had a nasty fall and I saw that it was more dangerous that I had thought. I tried cycling, and I liked it very much but, again, I fell off my bike and injured my shoulder so, finally, I had to switch to running which turned out to be the best choice. And the safest for me, at least up to now. 
