I am new here...
For YEARS I was taking 200 mg of Zoloft. Over 7 months I have carefully reduced the dosage. Now that I am on 12 mg, I am having serious emotional outbreaks and anxiety. And really mean to my spouse, not intending to be.
Is there anyone who has successfully come off of this foul drug and still in their right mind? I need help and I know the DR will tell me I should stay on a low dose for life. I refuse to poison my body any longer.
Thanks

I can’t even imagine how bad it must be to get off such a large dosage of Zoloft that you have been taking for such a long time. I was taking it only for a month and it was complete chaos for a few days when I stopped because it caused me every possible side effect it could, so you can imagine that I’m not really a fan of this drug. But, there is a reason why you were given Zoloft in the first place and since you are now going through a major withdrawal all I can suggest is that you see a doctor and try to get at least second opinion – there are other antidepressants and there are medications that could help you go through this phase.
