I too only took sertraline (Zoloft generic) for about a month. I started it on 8/2/21 at 25mg and increased to 50 the following week and week 3 went up to 75mg. I began to taper the medication to 50 mg and stopped cold turkey on 9/9/21. My withdrawal symptoms started about 1 week later and it's been a month. I had headaches and slight dizziness and then bouts of anxiety and depression, loss of appetite. I've been tempted to go back on them and taper off gradually, but at this point I'm 4 weeks out. I've been exercising, taking a daily multi-vitamin and an omega 3 supplement and allowing my brain to do what it needs to do to normalize itself.
My intent was to taper off ( My Dr. had given me a taper schedule for clonazepam, so I figured I would use the same method) but I got too cocky and because I was felling great, I thought cold turkey would be fine. I didn't learn of the withdrawal symptoms until I was in the throws of them.
Thankfully, my husband and extended family have been supportive and it has helped.

Today I am going cold turkey from zoloft 25 mg. I am a little bit scared. I am suffering from anxiety, and need some motivation. Any inspiring story is appreciated.
