If you have just started your periods then I think they can be irregular, but you might wish to ask a GP about this or wait for a girl to answer as I only know a little from having 3 sisters. lol.

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that would depend on the girl or guy. No two people are exactly the same and you shouldn't worry too much about how often the other girls are masturbating. Just enjoy it when you want and how you want.
On avrage women masterbate less. But their iz nuttin rong with masterbating 1,2 or even 6 times a day boy or girl. Cant help with periods thow. ;-)
