i had an abortion last august 08 and i went straight on the contraceptive pill and the last two months i haven't had a period... im worried that my abortion has affected me now... can that happen??? i went to the doc's a wk ago and he took me off my pill but he said i should get my period straight away but i haven't again why?? might i be infertile?? im not pregnant because i took two tests... please let me know asap.... thanks..

This sounds perfectly normal to me. The effects of the pill can last for a few months after you come off of it. Your period has probably come by now. Is this what happened. If not, what was going on?
