okay my best friend has been having these weird things happening to her for a while now, but just latly its been getting worse... this is what is wrong wtih her: she constantly like zones out when your talking to her and then when you call her name a couple times she shakes her head and goes oh what? lol uhmm when i ask her what happens to her when this happens she says that it just feels like everything goes away and that she can barly her anyone, she says she can't control it. also she blurts out random things that she was thinking or was related to what she was thinking ...like she would say closet... and she would say oh i was thinking about when i was scared and then i was thinking about when i was younger when i was scared i would go in a closet... and she can never stop figiting.... i told her to go see a doctor about this but she tells her mom and she tells her she doesn't have enough time to take her... anyways.... i think she might have A.D.D or something ... what do you think?
Your friend doesn’t necessarily suffer from ADD but she should definitely see a doctor to determine what is going on with her. You didn’t say how old she was but if her parents are irresponsible, she may decide to talk to a school psychiatrist and they can have some influence on the parents.
People with epilepsy often get spaced out for a moment. But they usually don’t know where they went.
If your friend has been having problems with attracting her parents attention for a long time, this kind of behaviour could be one of the ways, so they could notice her but it may not be so.
I think she should see a doctor who can based on her symptoms, behaviors and certain tests determine what the problem is. She needs to speak with an adult here.
