Ima be honest with yall...I had hysterectomy, w/tubes and cervix removal when I was 34, I'm 40. same issues..... I even went o the ER one time. The Dr's said I have a bowel obstruction; but it will go back into place. Because my uterus isn't there anymore to support my bowels. I can tell when it does got back into place. I can make a movement, no gas and my movement is full and long. Sorry to be gross. When my bowels move around, my movement is flat, I get the churning in my bowel and a whole lot of trapped gas that I have to push out or be uncomfortable with a bloated belly 5-10 lbs of weight gain and boating. Your bowel if full can be toxic. If I move certain ways I can expel the gas and it smells horrible. There's basically nothing you can do about it but take gas x or try to pass it. I just try to pass it and take Zantac for the indigestion I get from the backed up bowels. I noticed that if you take an anti anxiety medicine your bowels move more too as one poster said she took Xanax and that helped. Not sure if it has to do with relaxation of nerves and muscles or bowels or what.....But this may just be something we have to live with.

My surgery will be two yrs this November and for the most part I'm ok but lately, im having the Same symptoms I had from my endometriosis. Hard to inhale, can't sit up or move after laying in that side and it even hurts with just touching it. My sis who's an RN in the ob-gyn said I need to go to urgent care. And sex at times is painful as well. Never use to be. Oh, and one day out of the blue, I saw blood when I wiped after using the restroom! Not sure what's going on but I'm in pain at this moment and scared

This is what I'm experiencing...I'm 47 and full hysterectomy December 2012...I have had a problem with constipation for so long...I cannot go...It's like liquid or tiny cat bm...I recently thought I was a kid again in the pool and did a few back flips...being 50lbs overweight I hurt a little but it wasn't add bad as now since I've been working out...I cannot do any ab work due to a severe pain on my left lower side. It feels so sharp when I try to do any floor ab work...crunches...normally I can workout like a champ but I'm really scared of this pain...feels like I ripped something in there.

I am so sad to hear that there are so many of you out there that are suffering. I am 46 and had a total hysterectomy 10 months ago today due to fibroid tumors, cysts and severe endometriosis. About 8 weeks after my surgery, I started having right abdominal and pelvic pain. As the months wore on, the pain was more frequent and intensified. I then began to develop GI issues (constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, gas, incontinence) and urinary issues (UTIs and incontinence). I have been through several MRIs, CT Scans, Xrays and they revealed nothing. I recently took a new job where I have to walk over 2 miles a day and this seems to have made my symptoms even worse. Last visit to the OB/GYN he said I might have adhesions. I have another appointment scheduled for 8 February so I will let you know what transpires. In the meantime, I merely survive as the pain and symptoms wear me completely out! I go to work, come home, eat, go to bed, repeat cycle. I have tried to have a life, go out to dinner with friends, socialize, but that just makes the pain and other symptoms worse.

I'm not sure if you ever found resolution of answers? I too have extensive Endometriosis history, seemed neverending...30yrs & currently 46! Fortunately, I'm RN & 1st nursing job was with amazing ob/gyn, MD for 17yrs. Briefly, my history: began @15yrs w/hemorragic/chocolate cysts~always seemed to rupture, so 5 surgeries by time met ob/gyn & Lupron x7yrs! Without going into each detail, tubes were completely blocked & required emergent TAH...I, too, had only one, amazing pain-free year & all hell broke lose~like I was paying for that time of not having pain!!??!! My hormones, FSH/LH were crazy high, more than w/ovaries AND if there's anyone out there unaware: Endometriosis is hormone-disease like Breast cancer, ovaries have to be removed (when hysterectomy advised) AND estrogen/hormone-replacement is contraindicated...actually putting estrogen back in enabling Endometriosis to grow again! SO many PCP's & Gyn's haven't done their research & that's one of the main reasons pain returns after hysterectomy, for goodness sake, it's all growing again~like fuel on fire!!! I didn't even have hormones & mine still grew which my MD did research, found MD doing research in Chicago: Sedar Bulun, MD on Aromatase Inhibitors~concept was based on Breast Cancer & medication: Arimidex works!!! So, his research indicates some Endometriosis patients are born with an enzyme that enables Estrogen to grow despite ovary removal~by taking Arimidex, it blocks the enzyme... After TAH & one year, Endo was found in my Left Ureter: encased ureter, half removed~didn't work, whole ureter removed~made from small bowel(ileal conduit) but developed urinary reflux, septic: Left Nephrectomy(started Arimidex)! Did ok for couple yrs, then required bowel obstruction from ileal conduit~3yrs afterwards, Incisional Hernia repair BUT after years of Arimidex, even though can't seem to go more than 2-3 yrs before needing surgery~last repair, didn't find ANY Endometriosis! That's such a big deal!!! Sorry SO long but REALLY hope this helps someone... Please look-up Dr Bulun, in Chicago: I felt like I was losing my mind... Thing is, Endometriosis intensity completely varies: not to sound like know-it-all but having lived it, researched it, & also being Operating RN literally seeing it...can have belly full w/o any pain OR tiny lesion w/horrific pain! Main problem w/Endometriosis: MD's & there lack of knowledge~grant it, other than what research I informed, not a lot has been found out since I was diagnosed... They tell me there isn't too many women that have had Ureteral-Endometriosis, especially after Complete Hysterectomy req. Nephectomy~I feel like I can't be alone
