About survival period of rabies virus outside animal's body.

well im not 100% sure of the exact survival time outside a host but i would immagin that it wouldn't be too terribly long. im not sure what you mean by inactivated. but normally inavtive or denatured viruses can not become active again. rabies can be prevented but once you come down with symptomes rabies is nearly100% fatal. the rabies virus is said by some to be the deadliest virus in the world o.O why do you ask the question aabove? do you suspect an animal has rabies?
