Honestly, if there is still a chance you are pregnant, don't go. Sometimes, after a procedure, a woman will come to regret it and it can lead to problems in her life. Instead, go see your local crisis pregnancy center for advice on what to do with the child. They have councilors there you can talk to about your options and they can help you find one that works for you. Plus, they also provide free resources for mothers in need, like diapers and bibs and, if you see a pregnancy help medical center, they'll provide you with an ultrasound and other prenatal services. You can easily find one near you by using google and you can find websites that can give you advice on what to do with the child as well.  If you are in a country where unplanned pregnancies are illegal, get out ASAP.

You have the right to your opinion. But this is not the place for it. This is for women looking for advice and other peoples experiences with medical abortions and D&C. Not somewhere to be taunted or given ridicule for the choice they made, or were forced to make. Thank you. Take your opinions to Facebook.

What happened after your appointment? I’m going through the exact same thing and I’m a little worried. I go on Monday to get looked at.

Many years ago I had a medical abortion and my uterus stayed full of tissue also, I had to have a D&C. I wasn't thrilled about the idea, but honestly it was such a relief to be done with the constant semi heavy bleeding. It was only panti-liner bleeding for a couple of days after D&C. I was extremely nervous as well, but I was put under in a twilight kind of sleep and when I woke up it was all over. My Dr was good, she took great care of me. There's no need to be scared...it's definitely the best for your health to have it done.

Neesa, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't come here, to a sight, where women are looking for help after a medical abortion didn't empty their uterus completely and were told they need to have a D&C to keep from getting sick, and tell them not to go through with it. It's rude to come preach your beliefs about something you have no idea about. If you did, you would know that after taking these pills, the baby is already gone, the uterus just needs helps being cleared out. IF by some chance the baby was still alive, which the percentage rate is against that happening, it's too big of a chance for birth defects to let the pregnancy proceed. Take your preachy beliefs and go taunt other people somewhere else, because these are decisions that have already been made by adult women who don't need to be lectured at this time in their lives, if ever!

How do you know the child would be adopted by loving people rather than having to go into foster care? How do you know that most women regret abortion more than adoption? How do you know that the parents wouldn't be angy at her for being pregnant and that they should be told?

Hi! I'm scheduled for an abortion tomorrow and can't decide which procedure is safer. I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and I'm having difficulty deciding between the medical or D&C aspiration. I'd really appreciate the advice. Thanks!
