Hi, I am 63 years old female and I am suffering from arthritis. Sometimes pain is very strong so I decided to visit my doctor and he changed my therapy. Now I am taking Aleve and it helps me pretty good. I would like to know something more about this medication. Thank you.
Hi, my friend is also using Aleve and it is same drug as naproxen. This drug belongs to the group of NSAIDs and it is good for mild to moderate pain. Unfortunately there is no ideal medication and like that Aleve may be very dangerous for people with heart problems. Also in long term use it may cause heart problems even if someone heart was healthy before he started to take it.
