I don't think it is "gay" by itself.  It could just be curiosity on your part as to what your friends penis looks like and what happens when he ejaculates.

There is nothing wrong with you wanting to experiment with someone of the same sex many boys your age do it and there is a natural curiosity when you are developing.
It could be curiosity or you could be gay either way you will sort that out soon enough.

If I can remember , when I was of high school age there teen boys that had this feeling and they weren't gay. They liked girls just as much. We used to go to one of our private beach clubs during the hot summer months. Those days, boys and even older guys wore snug swim briefs. When us teen boys were in the boys locker room, we were shy about getting naked , but curious about our new male feelings.and would laugh about it.
