I am 41 my b/f 37, I have one child 23 yrs old. My period began on May 3rd the last day we had sex was May 14th. My doctor had prescribed some medication ( MEDROXYPROGESTERONE 10mg) 3 weeks earlier to start my period so she can run some blood work for my PCOS. At first I thought I had a cold, I had a snuffy nose and for 2 days a little nausea. That stopped now I've had cramping every day since, I'm not due for my period for a few more days. I don't recall any of these symtoms when I was pregnant before, matter of fact I rarely had any except for cravings.
To answer your question if you got pregnant or not, you need to take the test when the timing’s right. This means that you should wait for your period and if it’s late, then get tested that day or the day after.
If your periods are irregular, you can take the test two weeks after the unprotected intercourse and see what it says. The symptoms you experienced don’t reveal much actually.
They could be a cold, they could be medroxyprogesterone side effects, PCOS symptoms or your PMS.
I am not sure that even your doc could realize what these symptoms are indicating.
I reckon you should wait for the period and start from there.
