If I was in your situation, I would look into assistance to help you lose some of your body weight. Getting excess weight off of your body will make a significant difference in your problem. It will mean taking the extra weight off of your ankles, making it much more comfortable and less painful to walk. You may look into an aquatics class to help you burn extra calories and start eating healthier to lose this weight. I do not know how much you need to lose or if you qualify for bariatric surgery, but losing the weight one way or the other is the best option. Perhaps buying ankles wraps to support them will help relieve the pain in the process. Good luck!
