I posted about a month ago asking my issues with my eye, Pain, having trouble getting my left eye to track and move along with the other.
It did manage to recover on its own, but started up again yesterday morning. I woke up fine, went back to bed and wokeup an hr later with intense pain and it just felt off. This morning I woke up and yep my left eye again will not move along with teh right, it is fine side to side, and down, but will not move up properly. Here is a pic that shows you what's happening to that left eye, that will give you an idea of what I am talking about.
It isn't pretty, and when I do try to move it up I can feel the pull on whatever muscle it is that controls that. I started Motrin immediatly yesterday and took it every 4 hrs and that keeps the pain under control, it's manageble for sure but still very painful.

The first was "attack" was July 2007, the 2nd June 2008, Than Feb 2009 (this 'attackt lasted a few days only) than another in mid April and now again mid May.

As I said in my other post getting into the optho is hard, We are short drs where we are so there is a waiting list. if you have ever had this issue please reply. The last time I went to the optho the problem was gone so he didn't see it, so unless he can fit me in within a day or 2 he misses it.
Went to the town's er yesterday since my dr was on call. he gave me steriods (prednisone) and I woke up this mornign normal, my left eye is moving great, its no longer paralyzed. YAY. I hope this is my cure for whatever it is, it does confirm my thoughts of it being tolosa hunt though which is great.

I am so happy to hear that you are doing well. The prednisone should definitely help you out. I'm glad that you were able to get help for it so quickly. I just feel terrible that you had to wait so long to actually get it fixed. Next time, try to see your doctor as quickly as possible! In any case, I'm really happy to hear this. Does anyone else have experiences similar to this?
