My anterior cervical fusion failed - I have had 2 cervical fusions in the last 2 years.  C5-C7 fused in June 2009, and in August 2010 it was found that the bottom disk was not fusing, so the surgeon replaced it.  Now the surgeon says that C5-C6, which looked great last December, is no longer fused.  He says it's like it evaporated.  He also says he hasn't seen anything like it in his 30 years as a surgeon.  I am getting scheduled for CT scan and MRI's.  My surgeon is well respected and I have heard only good things about him.  Any thoughts/suggestions?
