I have been eating a lot of miso soup lately and I really like it. Meanwhile, I do know that the stuff is fermented and this just made me wonder if there are any negative aspects to eating miso soup and other miso based products, health wise? I would really appreciate it if someone could answer this question for me.

Miso is pretty healthy for you. It is full of vitamins while being low in fat and calories. Fermented foodstuff are usually very healthy for you and miso is no different. You could eat miso soup every day, as Japanese people often do, and be a very healthy person indeed. Happy eating!
