Hello,

anyone in here considering fruitarianism? I can see that there are a lot of those who know a lot about this eating regime. But, I can't see anyone who currently follow this diet program.

Did you ever even consider to start with it? Why?

What are positive and what are negative aspects of this diet?

I do consider to try it, but I am not that sure yet. I want to try it , and the next day I am little bit skeptical about it.

Let us know more about it, if you have experience with fruitarianism.

I don't know who is considering fruitarianism, but I don't :)

It seems like an interesting diet, but that is all. You need to know that a lot of people considering themselves fruitarians, even if their diet is not 100% based on eating fruits. I don't even know is there a lot of people who are actually fruitarians, who are eating just and only fruits. I think that fruitarians are usually between fruit and vegetable diet. That is my opinion.

This diet is so popular lately, and I am sure that you will find someone who is a 100% fruitarian!

Hi,

if you are considering fruitarianism, you should know all pros and cons about it.

If you want to live on raw food only, it is your choice, but you need to know a few things about it.

The good side is that fruit is definitely the best tasting raw food and this is a very great and pure diet. Also, it gives you a light body. This diet reduces the amount of water that you need to drink during the day.

The bad side is that all these modern fruit is very expensive and you might not find some types. You will lose weight, but sometimes that can take you to the anorexia, and you don't want that, right? You should know that this diet is very difficult – a lot of people are not ready for it.

I must agree with you Lilly – it is hard, really hard to follow this diet.

But, if you really want to try fruitarianism, you can consider a near fruitarian diet as well!

Do you know what is this? Well, this is one alternative that you actually can consider if you really want to follow this diet with fruits.

But, if you are really considering to try fruitarianism do it if you are clear with it, if you have good and positive reasons that motivate you :)

Otherwise, don't try it! It is hard and in that case, waste of time.

Hi,

I did not know that there is an alternative diet to fruitarianism.

Just like I was thinking – this diet is hard. And, I see why is that. I don't know who is able to eat a lot of fruit each day. It is hard to handle, and you really need to decide to do that.  

I need to be honest – I don't know can I handle this eating regime.

I mean, I love to eat fruits, but I don't know will I am able to stick to it. So far, I have heard more bad experience than positive.

I know, trust me! I was following this diet for one month. I know, this is a short period, but I could not do it more :) It was ok, I even have lost some pounds, but I was feeling a little week. Probably this diet is not for me at all. At the beginning, it was really hard to stick to it, but after six days I could do that. But after, I was so hungry, these types of fruit could not satisfied my needs for food. So, I stopped! And, I need to be honest, I was feeling great.

Hi,

Yes, I know that some of you might have some bad experience with fruitarianism. And, I know that this diet contains a lot of sugar, that we basically don’t need that much. I mean, I don’t because I am struggling with my weight for so long, and I am always on a diet programs :)

Anyway, thank you for your advice and tips, they are really helpful, and I am sure that they will help me think a lot about fruitarianism diet program. You might have right – maybe this diet is not for my personality and my body.

I am going to consult my doctor.
