Hi, I am very much worried for my sister. She was always healthy (even did exercises often). A month ago she started breathing heavily and the stairs made her sweat. As I said, this was all much more noticeable because of her previous state. She has been diagnosed with myocarditis that damaged valves. Was anyone diagnosed with valvular acute insufficiency?

Very often, myocarditis if it was not discovered in time, might lead to some complications, including valvular acute insufficiency. In her case, there is a great danger of pulmonal edema occurring, so I assume that her therapy will include medications that will decrease the amount of blood that the heart will have to pump. I hope she will be ok after the therapy…
