It took almost a year after my 2nd surgery for the pain to go away. (**The total recover time is NOT just 2 weeks, but much longer as the area is thin and can tear extremely easy). It also took just as long to be able to have sex without the entire area welling so large I became afraid to make love with my boyfriends. However I did get my desired results but just remember that over time they will go back to being as they were before - maybe not as long but you may desire another procedure later down the line.

Wow like i never knew my labia looked different from other women. I do have discomfort and have to wash and wipe alot to feel clean it wasnt . my boyfreinds never had complaints during sex however sex is always a lil uncomfortable. It wasnt until in my medical billing class that i learned this was a medical condtion and alot of women have extra skin down there abd since ive never seen another women private from that angle i thought mine was normal. However now hearing that this is a actual surgery and is medically necessary i think ima try to get a labia plasty. My question to you is how long did it take to heal . and does it sting when you use the bathroom afterwards .
