Hello,
I'm having a subepithelial connective tissue graft on my 4 lowers front teeth. The periodontist mentioned a technique called "the tunnel technique". I'm also interested in knowing whether apparent swelling occurs since I have a big event 2 days after the surgery.
Thanks a bunch!
Most people get some swelling and, if they do, it usually happens about 48-72 hours after surgery. Using the ice bag and sleeping inclined as directed above will help a great deal with keeping it to a minimum.
