Hi. My doc has recommended me B-Complex and I have certain related questions. What are B vitamins good for? Where does vitamin B deficiency lead?

Hi. Vitamin B is great for your body. It bolster metabolism, maintain healthy skin, nails and hair, enhance immune and nervous system function and promote cell growth. B-complex helps you manage stress, depression and ardiovascular diseases. Vitamin B1 deficiency can cause Beriberi and Korsakoff`s syndrome. Lack of Vitamin B2 can cause ariboflavinosis. Lack of Vitamin B3 causes Pellagra. Vitamin B5 deficiency can cause acne, and lack of Vitamin B6 may cause anemia and depression.

May I know which foods are rich in vitamins B-complex and magnesium? Is it true that B-complex and magnesium deficiency in food causes feeling of ants crawling and itching sensations on the different parts of body?
