I see everyone dealing with this problem and it's so frustrating. let me tell you I've been having this recurrent problem since the first time I got BV and it hasn't gone away every time Ive had sex with someone either if it's the same person or new one it comes back. It sucks so much. The doctors don't really do much here in the states but just give you antibiotics and I don't want to be living off that all my life, so probiotics do help but it doesn't cure it for me. Recently I went to my mother country in South America and doctors are actually smart. They say here that your partner does not need to get treated with antibiotics but in reality THEY DO. Because they have it as well and once you're done with the antibiotics you're okay but he's not so he still has whatever is causing the BV, they told me both partners need to be treated in order for there to be no passing back and forth. this is very understandable and I really don't understand why the US is incredibly stupid when it comes to this type of stuff. So if you're in a long term relationship with someone I think you should try it out and seek medication for both of you. Anyone who tries it out let me know cause I haven't been sexually active in months, but I will try it once I get in a relationship.

Your Ph and his Ph just don't mix well. As unfortunate as it is that is your problem. I'm 35 and have been on and off with my daughters father since I was 17. Every single time he cums inside me I get BV. It only happens with him. My dr. said our PH's just don't mix. His throws mine off and it's down hill from there. I douche( even tho it's not good) with peroxide and h2o immediately after intercourse and also us Rephresh Gel to bring my ph back to a normal level before B.B. sets in. Good luck it's a real b***h!

you probably getting it only with him because he is cheating. I have been through a similar situation only to find out my ex was cheating. left him alone and have been with my fiancee 2 years and have NEVER had it. My doctor tried to tell me it wasn't my ex that was giving it to me but I checked it out on the CDC website and it CLEARLY STATES they are unsure how it is spread so how can people say women can't get it from a man!? I have read COUNTLESS reviews of woman who kept getting it and discovered their partner was cheating. More research needs to be done BEFORE people try to dismiss it being passed through sex because too many woman are getting it that way
