hi everyone, i have a red spot on the right side of my scrotum which is getting me very very worried. it appeared around 6 months ago and became quite big like the size of a skittle. it was extremely itchy and seemed to be getting bigger so i started putting dettol on it and it went away but now it has returned in the exact same place as before but is not as big. im 19 and masturbate every day. i have had sexual contact etc with my grlfriend but have not had intercourse yet. ive been using dettol onit again but it dosent seem to be getting better. its getting me very worried as i dont know what it is or why it came in the 1st place. :-(

I would definatly talk with a dr about it. it could just be irritation from shaving if you shave that area or an ingrown hair.

hi jaytothec, i have been using dettol mixed with water and rubbing this into the spot and it seems to be getting a little better, but if you try this DO NOT use pure dettol (unmixed) as this will kill your skin and it will shrivel up and a thin layer of your dead skin will begin to peel off. also i have not used any fragranced soap on the area.
