So..i've been having unprotected sex and want to start on birth control. If I had sex yesterday and get on birth control today, will I be safe from pregnancy even from yesterday's sex?

I'd say wait a week and test and, if negative, go to the dr and get a blood test. I never believe negative results b/c my aunt was 5 months before she could get a hpt to say positive.
