So today I made a huge mistake. I was cleaning my toilet with bleach and then walked away for a little. I had to suddenly use the bathroom completely forgetting I put bleach in the toilet. There was this fizzing and horrific odor smell. It took me a second to realize what was happening but when I did I flushed the toilet. Everything is fine with the odor now. My question is, is everything okay "up there"? I don't recall feeling bleach splash on my vagina but would the gas do anything? Please be nice cause I'm freaking out!!

I've peed in the toilet many times with cleaning stuff in it (with bleach in the formulation) and never had any burning or anything. I personally would wash myself well and maybe use a douche (only with warm water, nothing else in it) and you should be fine. I don't think the gasses would be too damaging just for the amount of time that you typically pee on a toilet, wipe and get up, so I wouldn't worry. But yeah next time since your urine apparently has a lot of ammonia in it, don't pee with the cleaner in the toilet! LOL Was it just bleach or one of those pre-made toilet cleaning gel-type products? If it was pure bleach I still think you should be okay, but I would wash and douche with water anyway. Just to be safe. If you notice burning or other odd things happening in that region, I would try to get seen by your gyno soon. Good luck!

As long as you rinsed it off with clean water after and you feel on burning effects on your skin it will be fine
