my girlfriend has been bleeding whislt i am fingering her, it has never happend before untill she took the emergency contraceptive pill 2 weeks ago.

The last 2 times i have done it she has had irregular bleeding, she describes it as being "thicker than normal blood." what does this mean? we're both quite worried about it.
