Bleeding/ blood clot 26 weeks

Hello I am 26 weeks pregnant, in the past 10 days I have had spotting/ bleeding, it all started from what the doctor says, "intercourse" after my first scare of wiping and seeing red blood rushing to the hospital I decided no more intercourse. They did a sono and everything looked fine as we'll as baby still moving. Later that week and everyday since I had old blood spotting and towards the next weekend bright red bleeding, also yesterday passed a blood clot about the size of two quarters. I went in and had an exam my cervix is still closed and everything seems to be fine. Baby is moving still as we'll and have a sonogram tomorrow. I am a CNA and it terrifies me to work because it seems straining myself is what causes the bleeding, doctor says it is still ok to work though. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the outcome? I am so worried and just want to be sure I do everything to keep the baby safe. I appreciate the feedback!
