hi I'm 20 and sexually active. I have read all the comments on this page and i can identify with yours the most. i had sex with a guy about 3 weeks ago but we used protection and about 3 days ago i started developing these little red spots around my vagina. some turn into blisters they pop and then they hurt for about half a day till they start healing and some don't even turn into blisters and they hurt a bit because the skin is peeled off. i checked on the internet and it basically freaks me out saying that i have genital herpes. but since we used protection, I'm out of the normal time limit when it should appear (up to 2 weeks) and i don't experience any of the other symptoms (except one time 2 weeks ago when my pelvis hurt a lot for 10 minutes) i really really hope i don't have it. I'm seeing a doctor in 2 days but until then I'm freaking out. what do u think?

I get these all the time and have been getting them since before I was sexually active. They are not herpes, they are infected ingrown hairs caused by: shaving or any kind of hair removal, tight pants, tight underwear and synthetic underwear.
Try not to shave or wax, just trim the hair down with scissors. Try not to wear tight pants or underwear and try to wear natural fibres i.e cotton underwear as opposed to synthetic fabrics such as nylon.
If your like me and like to shave, wear tight pants and pretty (nylon) underwear once and a while, then you need to get a topical antibiotic and apply it a few times a week to the pubic area.
Seriously, don't stress yourself over it! Just go and get a topical antibiotic and you'll be fine

Hello. I have read all of your comments and had been experiencing the same thing. However, when I went to the doctor my doctor told me I had herpes. but you all are saying it is something else. I am going to have my doctor retest me because I am not out there like that and have not had any type of disease in my 46 years. I would get tested for herpes cause I am experiencing the same thing as all of you with the blisters. No buring sensation though. In my heart I really think those test results are incorrect. when I went to have blood work done and provided a urine speciment my speciment was sitting in a case next to someone elses with our names on it of course and I seem to think they may have confused something. to all of you dont speculate and if you have seen your doctor get a second opinion.

Omg i'm going through the same problem too & i'm just hoping it was a razor burn because ever since i shaved i started getting itchy down there so i scratched & later in the morning i looked & i had those blisters. They're very itchy but burn afterwards i would scratch so what i did is i started to put a cream for the itchyness & its actually working but more seem to come out a little bit more down on my pubic area. I'm scared i'm not really sure what it could be so i'm making an appointment with my doctor just to make sure.

I have this exact same problem. Thigh-vagina crease where the underwear edge is... never sexually active. I have yet to get mine checked out. Did you ever figure out what yours is?

You don't need to be sexually active to have these sores. Sometimes when your body chemistry is off, yeast infections can occur causing pelvic area sores. Taking antibiotics and taking estrogen are two things which can cause a yeast infection. Keep the area clean. Eating yogurt can help restore the chemical inbalance.
