I've had bloodshot eyes for over 2 weeks and sometimes they kinda burn but not too bad... some nights I dont get much sleep but other nights I get about the "right amount" of sleep(8 hours or so) and some nights I get more, but my eyes still seem to stay bloodshot no matter how much sleep I get.
Is this normal? Or do I need to see an eye doctor?

Since you have been experiencing this condition for almost two weeks now it would be wise to see your doctor. He will recommend you to see a specialist or as you have called it eye doctor- ophthalmologist. Every change around eyes usually means some kind of infection. This doesn’t have to be serious but when it lasts for more than a few days it is time to see your doctor.
It has been a while since you have wrote this post so by now you have probably resolved your problem. Do you care to share with us what was in question? What was the diagnosis and the treatment options.
