Hi I'm a 27 year old female who has had severe allergies and asthma forever. Over the past 6 months I was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis and recently with mono. When my allergist blood tested for mono, I was also shown to have a higher than average ANA result of 1:340 with centromere pattern. My allergist was starting to consider CREST syndrome. He did more bloodwork two weeks later which showed an even higher ANA result of 1:640, centromere pattern, and DNA (ds) antibody that was heightened (6). Everything else was negative. My grandmother also has RA and as I said I have asthma so autoimmunity runs in my family. I am curious if anyone has any thoughts on any of this based on their experiences. He did refer me to a rheumatologist which I will see in about a week. But if anyone has any feedback I would appreciate it.
I should probably also add that I believe my mono symptoms started in early august, right after I began having sharp pain in my upper back/neck followed by stiffness that has remained since. I cannot move my head backwards.
