Hi a I et exactly the same thing as you and it hurts so much. Did you ever find out what it is / how to stop it (apart from the obviously not drinking anything). I'm not a regular drinker, just nights out - maybe a couple a month if I'm lucky. However now the 2nd day on I'm in so much pain - especially my ribs and down my spine and top of my arms. Any advice? Thanks. Rach

Guys, guys. I had this problem for so long. And I didn't know why and how to solve it. But then i went to the doctor.

The reason is dehydration. DRINK WATER ALL THE TIME. After drinking, before drinking, when not even drinking alcohol.

could it be dehydration from the alcohol causing the pain in the bones and muscles, try drinking a glass of water for every alcoholic drink and see if that dilutes the problem.

Yes! I have the exact same thing, always have.

Not dehydration in my case - I drink a TON of water. Besides, that wouldn't explain why it happens IMMEDIATELY upon ingesting even the smallest amount of alcohol.

I've heard it's becase of dehydration but I'm not for sure. make sure to drink lots of sports drinks and water, maybe take ibuprofen or Aleve, and you should be good to go!

I have always wondered the same thing...I thought it was so strange and I was the only one. I am a 22 year old female and I am healthy and work out regularly. I began to notice when I started drinking that after just one SIP of wine, I get an intense pain/ache. It starts in my upper extremities and slowly radiates throughout my whole body. It lasts for about 20 min. It usually goes away the more I drink. I would love to know why this happens especially now knowing it is not just in my head. My body literally feels like I got hit by a truck after one sip of alcohol.

it is called osteoporosis. it happens if you are heavy drinker form a young age. There is only 1 remedy for this, that i have found and that is a marijuana strain with alot of CB1. If your bones ache when it rains it could be a form of arthritis or oteoporosis.

Yes Angie I think people on this thread are getting severe hangover pains mixed up with near immediate pain associated with only a small portion of alcohol. I've had this since I was 21, sometimes I'm fine, nothing happens, sometimes I have 2 sips of any alcohol and intense pain begins in my right shoulder joint, it eventually radiates through my entire body. There is nothing that eases it until it seems to naturally dissapate within a couple of hours. I would love to know why my body is reacting some times and not others

You should not take ibuprofen after you've been drinking. It's brutal on your kidneys and liver.
