This is a bit new to me and honestly I'm a bit shy about the entire thing. Anyway, I've been on birthcontrol for about 2 years, but have changed the types of BC a few times. Recently (roughly 3.5mo. ago) I changed to Jolessa which restricts the period to 4x a year (once every 3 months.) and currently should not be on my period. I know with this pill there are higher chances of spotting etc., but just a day or two ago I began to have a break through period and am currently still experiencing it. The catch is though, that my boyfriend may be visiting for valentines day. He lives thousands of miles away and I wanted it to be really special for us and I dont want my period to get in the way of sexual encounters and my mood. Is there any way to swiftly stop my period from happening or restrict it as much as possible? I was also curious if there were any ways to limit the frequency of spotting and break-through periods even when taking the pill regularly and not forgetting?
