Hi guys, Im 20 and have been on the pill, Estelle since I was 15. Have never had any problems really. I occassionally did the period skip when I had something important to attend or something but never made a habit of it.
Now, since April I have been skipping my sugar pills continually so as to not have my period (after hardley being able to move from my bed in april due to period pain I thought b****r this, made a vow with myself to never take my white pills again and skipped ever since :-P). This would equate to probably around 6 packets where I have skipped my white pills.
On Sunday I suddenly felt the beginnings of period pain (I am currently in mid cycle) and when I reached the bathroom I realised I had some bleeding there. The pain continued but the bleeding ceased. Its now just a brownish discharge which has been on and off for now about 30hours. The pain comes and goes also - but feels just like period pain when it is there.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Im very worried. Would it be the lengthy time ive been skipping my periods or something more serious?

Any help, advice or opinions muchly appreciated! Thank you!

Hey everyone,
i am having pretty much the same issue you all are having. Ill explain my situation. I went to florida earlier this month and didnt want to get my period while on the trip so i skipped and went straight to the next pack. Everything went fine but on monday i started having a brown discharge off and on. It is still happening today. I have never had unprotected sex,i always use a condom and i am on the pill so i have no idea how i could even be pregnant, but i am going to take a test just to reasure myself. Anyone have any information they could give me about what i can do. Oh and my sugar pill week starts on sunday so hopefully that will set my body straight. Please respond i need answers!

It is the body trying to get yourself a period. I went through the same thing and skipped my white pill for 6 months. It's just a regular thing although I was advised to take my white pill straight away, no matter how far into the regular pill I was, to help get a normal period straight away
