Hello, I’m 5 months pregnant and am 33 years old. This is my first pregnancy. I‘d like to hear some advices from someone more experienced. Are breathing difficulties like shortness of breath and numbness in hands normal in pregnancy? I haven’t got a lot on weight. I feel well and can have normal life activities.
Shortness of breath is typical symptom in pregnancy. It happens because uterus makes pressure on your lungs and diaphragm. Numbness in hands occurs because of increased pressure too. Enlarged tissue of your breasts pressures blood vessels in your arms and cause numbness. After pregnancy and breast feeding these problems stop.
