I have just been diagnosed after numerous scans that I have chronic bronchitis. I see my lung specialist next week. However, I understood that it was rare and very unlikely for a non smoker to contract this disease. I'm 52 and I have never smoked. I need help about this; does anyone have any experience like this one?

I have stopped smoking, for last 5 years after being diagnosed with chronic bronchitis. I don’t know if NAC helps, but my persistent throat clearing is much reduced and I have also greatly reduced my dairy intake. I’ve been told that dairy cause an allergic persistent cough and I am also taking Kyolic garlic, TMG, MeSe, megaB, Fish oil, lecethin, zinc, Vit C, Aspirin.
