Bump on Vagina. Could it be ingrown hair or boil?

Hello, I have had them to they are called boils its because we all have staff in our bodys, I have had about 3 of them its because the bacteria is coming from inside out cause from in grown hairs , once you get them they always come back. there is a couple things you can do to get rid of it. You use dial soap to keep the bacteria down , you take hot baths with epson salt and soak, you can use boil ease for the pain and there is some black save you use to help but if it worsens the best thing to do is go to the doctor and get it lance and it be healed in a couple days with antibotics. I know how pain ful they are i have one now on my lip of my private area . because i shaved down there. it will get better .you have to let it run its course if its no better then two days

go to the doc and get antibotics to keep it from getting more infected

Ugh!!! this is so annoying!  I've had this before but not quite so large.  Thanks everyone for the info because I was way concerned when I first felt it and ran to the laptop to see if anyone else had experienced the same.  Out of nowhere it's the size of a pea under the skin.  I'm going to try the neosporin and hot baths.  Thanks!!

 

Ok. so hi. I dunno wether people still go these websites and all (its 20/04/2013) okay so im twelve going thirteen and a few weeks ago i felt a lump on my fanny (vagina) and I was scared. I though it was some cancer thing or something. so i did the dumbest thing ever and tried to squeeze/ pop/ defleten it but it stayed hard but became very sore and irritating. I didn't tell my mum cause it was embarrasing and decided to turn to the internet for advice. Thank god it wasn't anything cancerous and one website said it was actaully common for women to get lumps on the fanny wall. So don't worry. Cause it was painful i always put a put a bit of vaseline on it and most websites suggested that it was proberbly ingrown hair, youkno that type of thing as i'm not yet ssexually active and that i should take longer warmer baths as they will will soothe the lump down. I bathed almost everyday i even slept with a water bottle. It was really reassuring to know that i wasn't the only person with this. So don't worry,, My lumps gone :D but i fear im growing another one. Sorry this is long but i thought you should know that its nothing to worry about if your really worried then book a doctors appointment. xxxx goodluckxx

I am sexually active. The bumps only appear where the hair is. I haven't shaved since and I did change my shaving cream

I am dealing with the same issue like most said first it was a little bump no to visiable and when I started to.bother it the next few days it swoll up.. I'm going to.the women's clinic on Monday because it might be an absact and if you bust it you might get an infection.. don't mess with it ladies go to a women's clinic and get a proper diagnosis.. I was very nervous because its embarrassing and it can mess with you mind mentally.. don't worry.. don't self treat go get a proper diagnosis from your ongyn.. all women have these issues treat your issue now before its to late no self treatments ladies

Have a red bump on the lip of my vagina . I dont know what to do. Im a shaver, im not open about my sex life to my mom . Im 17 also and scared to go to a doctor. Should i pop it. And its hard to reach. WHAT SHOULD I DO !? Please helpp !!!!

omg me too , yes i am sexually active but i always have protected sex. i shave everytime i have sex  or it gets too bushy and now i noticed for the past few years i do get a lil bump here n there but it usually is small and non bothersum and goes away in a few days but this is one is hell. its big like the size of a pee , it swollen and looks likes there is puss inside i keep poking at it to see if anything will come out but i dont wanna squeez it and make anything worse but it hurts so bad like even putting on panties , when the fabric rubs against it it hurt sooo bad. im scared , i just hope its an ingrown hair. if anybody could give any tips on making the swelling go down? thanks

Okay so I'm 16 & I have two numbs on my vigina area . One on the lip & one on the side of my leg right next to it . I'm sexually active but with females . They are swollen and when I try to pop them nothing comes out they just burn and hurt like a bruise for about 10 minutes afterwards . I'm not sure what they are and I'm really scared . Go get sum Epsom salt from dollar tree soak in it for 45-1 hour on HOT FIRE WATER repeat for 3 days ..it should pop I jst went through this last week i also put the needle thru two times on the top of i grown hair I think it made it pop & has went down im so excited thats its back to my normal size lip lol

So I'm 18 and my mom and I aren't close, so I'm not comfortable talking to her about this but there are three bumps two closer to my butt and one beside my vagina and it is ki da white but they are hard and really painful, it is sometimes awkward to sit down, I'm freaking out ive always shaved and this has never happened I'm freaking out!!:/

Hey I've had the same thing ingrown hair bump after shaving and what is also best to do is to buy some distilled vinegar and an empty squirt bottle and squirt some  on the area then put vaseline or neosporen on the area and it should go away in a day or two.

So I have just recently had a bump and got a new underwear I'm really worried can someone explain to me I know it's not herpies or anything because its not all over the place down there it's just one but looks like a pimple and its just on the outside ?? And I'm just freaken out never had it before

dude I got the same thing.. I kept shaving over the bumps and more appeared I went to the doctor and they said neosporn twice a day and dont shave for two weeks.
