Its a boil. Dont worry it should go away in a week or 2. Dont try and pop it or it will get bigger. Put yogurt in your vigina and coat the lips. It will stop the itching and redness. Best for yeast infection. You may have a yeast infection and boils. If the redness goes away that should be a sign its clearing up. The boil should come to a head soon and naturally drain. If not you may need antibiotics. Go to ER if no insurance. Tell them your in "major pain" and they will help you out. I shave regularly and didn't for a few days as I was away from the house and ended up with the same issue. It was a little red bump and the next day it was twice the size! I tried to pop it the first day which just made it hurt worse with no improvement, but this morning I layed on a heating pad for a bit and was able to pop it. Because the pus was thin and I used to get ingrown hairs on my legs, I know that's all that it was. The two small hairs that were fighting to get through are now visible as they were not before. Don't be stressed about it, it's common. Just soak, squeeze it (it will hurt), and avoid shaving for a little bit until it goes away!

Me too! Right next to the opening of my Vagina! At first I was really worried, but I've been doing quite a bit of "research" and it's really just sounding like an ingrown hair. I'm 17 as well and extremely sexually active, although, it's only with one person. I have Medicaid, and I don't live with my parents so I know I could go to the doctor's in confidentiality, but I was there not too long ago with a UTI. I always end up there, and not only does it annoy me, but my boyfriend as well. I also don't want to waste 2 hours waiting, to find out that it's just an ingrown hair. Mine has lasted about a week now, though. Which I honestly think is because I have continued to have sex. omg, i have gotten hair bumps beofre but nothing like this time. i went and got a brazillian wax and my vagina hasnt been the same since. sometimes these bumps turn into boils and have to be removed by a dr. i have had these before and they suck!

also, i cant shave with a razor on with clippers. with boils they can be very painful, and can leave hole marks in skin. i usen clindaminacin and benzoyd peroxide on them it help to prevent if you can catch it. but im still getting rid of haor bumps from a wax in feb. the damage had my vajayjay looking scary. no more waxing ever!

I have a small red lump on the wall tip of my vagina and as it is in the middle it really hurts to close my legs. I shaved 2 days ago so it very we'll could be an ingrown hair. I don't want it to be worse when I wake up tomorrow and it is late now so do you have any advise on what I could do before going to bed. I have had 2 lumps before larger than this before but they didn't have a scab on the top of the lump. They went away in a few days. I accidently caught this one and so it is bleeding and puss is coming out of it. What should I do now so it is a bit better by tomorrow? Thanks

I shave a lot. Consistency helps to contain the problem. Also I have found that a vaginal wash and vaginal powder also works wonders. If you shave I suggest using conditioner not shaving cream and soak in a salt water bath after shaving, wash with the vaginal wash and use the powder after. If you still have problems use Boudreaux butt paste mixed with Vaseline as a daily lotion. I have had no problems since I started using these methods in conjunction with each other. Definitely takes up a Saturday afternoon but all is worth it. I have not had an ingrown hair or boil for almost a year.
