I was on 24 mg of Suboxone for 6 years and 32 mg of subutex for about 2 years. I have had no bad effects from either. I switched because I am in Chronic pain and the FDA recently approved Subutex for moderate to severe pain.

It’s the Naloxone in Suboxone that causes liver damage therefore doesn’t apply to Subutex…..

Same here. I had normal liver results snorting pills forever but have fatty liver now after being on 16mg's of Suboxone film for a little over a year and a half used correctly also(sublingual). You can actually see my test results get worse and worse over the year and a half I've been on it. My test results prior to starting the program you could see everything was in range and healthy.

I stopped using it 4 days ago and already the pain in my abdomen has finally subsided. I'm sure it will reverse itself on its own if that was the true cause which so far it seems to be.

Be careful with this sh*t. Pharmaceutical companies are too happy to make a dime on us. It's good for short term if your in a bad place but be careful with long term use. Definitely get your 6 month blood work done to keep track of how things are going. What's sad is at no point did my psych suggest I quit use even while I was doubled over in pain. sh**s sad tbh. Good luck on your journey all you beautiful people and above all else be safe!
