I would look into seeing a good chiropractor.
This sounds like a pinched nerve issue to me.

Uric acid from urea ( build up of urine) may possibly cause the burning pain in the inner thigh or groin area.

I had a hernia surgery in 2010 and afterwards lost feeling on the left side of my inner thigh and genital area.

Just recently like this week I was out and needed to have a bowel movement bad and I had this burning sensation right at the inner junction of my thigh and groin thinking I may have damaged or stretched a nerve bc I was holding back till I got home.

It didn't last but a few minutes .

Then a few days later I needed to piss really bad and I had the same sensation before I pissed. I also have BPH also.

Does anyone else who has had the burning have that too??

The problem is in your grion area and is caused from pulling the tendens in that area, there are three tendens in your groin. To get it fixed you need to see a Phisotherpys or get some muscle menpualtions done on the area

Suffering over 3 years now off and on. Thanks for the comment and your information Matt. I think I get it now. The burning seems to come back when I do less stretching. I never correlated my stretching routine or lack of stretching to the burning sensation. I didn't know it but I have been doing pelvic stretches. TOTALLY makes sense now. Thanks

I've had this problem for over a year now. Started with burning/tingling sensation in my right groin. Scrotum goes really red and it feels like a tingling sensation as well, as if something is crawling on my testicles. I also have itching in my armpits. I thought it was jock itch at first but used anti fungal creams and it didn't clear up. I've tried everything from my doctor: cream etc. I had hernia surgery about 6 years ago, but never had any problems relating to it, apart from numbness in the left groin. I've had bloods tests done, which came back ok. I stopped sleeping with my wife in case it was something contagious but doctor says it's not. Even though he doesn't actually know what is causing this! I now have an appointment to see a dermatologist. Don't hold out much hope of them being able to diagnose the problem. This Is driving me insane!

Four things you have to do:
1) Arrange your self soft cushions to sit always in whereever you have to sit long period
2) don't go for any type of excersizes/streches/walking, just give rest for your leg muscels
3) don't stand long periods.
4) If you want to get confident psychologically, go to your neuro physician and use medicine as per his advice only.
I am also sciatica victim. Now I am cure 70% already within one month of time. - Rams

Received my appointment for dermatology. I've since had blood tests and urine tests. Have been diagnosed with stage three chronic kidney disease. One of the symptoms of this condition is itchy skin, so I'm hoping that this is related to my condition. still have the itching and burning sensation within the right side of my groin and armpits on a daily basis though. Driving me mad. I'm 46 years old, cycle 10 miles per day, still play football at weekends and weigh 11st 4lbs. Never smoked. Don't drink at home during the week, and only drink alcohol about once a month on a Saturday.

I wish my balls were large enough to be hanging to the sides thus touching my groin. Truth of the matter is they are large when im at home and warm and massaging them, but they always get smaller when playing racquetball! So today was my first time I got a mini sharp pain and almost quick burning sensation in my right side groin area. I first noticed a lighter pain in the same area almost as if I slightly pulled a groin, but as I continued to play then I would feel quick jolts of sharp burning pain, but on a dull level! Ive pulled hamstrings b4 and definitely nothing compared to that pain! When I press in my groin areas it feels sore, but no pain. As I walk around I feel this quick jolts of dull burning sensation coming and going and only on the right side. After exercise today and being the first day of exercise in a week my legs do feel a bit weaker after the workout. I'm curious if it will go away or continue! Cheers!

The same issue has been happening to me about 18 months now. I did many test including for an STD and the result was negative. My doctor has advised that it could be related to prostatitis. I believe its closer to an STD (Herpes related),

I share many of these symptoms. The burning in the groin area, red scrotum, and tingling/brining in the legs. Has anyone definitively figured out if this can be passed through sexual contact?

I’ve also tested negative for all STDs.

Had same symptoms for about three years after a sexual encounter. Finally went away but I tested negative for all stds and saw loads of doctors, I believe mine to be Nuro dermatitis, that turned into a fungal infection from all the creams I was using and it was definitely exasperated by me stressing and thinking about it. It was a real struggle, keep the area dry maybe lightly powder from time to time. Stop thinking and stressing about it, it really does help.
