Hello,
I am a 16 year old girl and I am a virgin (no sex, and never any direct contact of genitalia). Last year I started experiencing an extremely uncomfortable and strong burning sensation after urinating. I would also get the urge to pee, run to the bathroom, only to find that a few drops would come out. After being to the bathroom I would feel a pulsating feeling in my vagina. I started researching to find what the cause of this could be. I narrowed it down to Urinary tract infection or syphilis. However, the most recent sexual activity (no sex, no direct contact between genitals) had been 4 months prior to the urination pain, and syphilis symptoms should commence within at most 3 months. I read that drinking lots of water could help this feeling, so I did so, and within some days the burning was gone.
It returned some months later, only to go away again not long afterwards. Now, more than a year after the first burning feeling, I have endured a total of 3 painful unirnation perdiods. I am currently going through the third burning-time. The returning pain doesn't seem to be linked to sexual activity, as I dated a boy who I was sexually active with for 3 months and experienced no painful sensations while urinating.
This feeling is very very uncomfortable and unsettling, it not only activates while I urinate, but for sometime after aswell. Sometimes it hurts so much that I just go to sleep, a natural number of pain, and find that when I wake up I no longer feel the pulsating/throbbing feeling.
Any suggestions of what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

these sound like classic urinary tract infection symptoms, whenever you get these if they don't resolve themselves within a few days to a week you should probably visit a doctor so they can diagnose you correctly and prescribe an appropriate treatment.
