Hi there, im a 22 year old women who has been having pain in my abdomin, bladder, lower back, right groin, and right thigh for the past 3 weeks, my doctor thinks it is an ovarian cyst so has made an appointment for me to have an ultra sound which could take up to 6 weeks for me to be seen. Today i realised that my lymph node in my right groin was swollen and painful when touched, could this be caused my the ovarian cyst or is it something else? I was on anti biotics about 3 days ago as the doctor thought i had a bladder infection (urine sample came back clear) but i now think i have a yeast infection not sure if thats relevant.
thanks :-)

hi. i have pain in those same areas. have you ever been tested for chlamydia? it is the cause of lymphogranuloma, which is an std characterized by swollen lymph nodes in the right genital area. it comes in stages. i would get tested for chlamydia. the yeast infection you are noticing might not be yeast at all but pus due to the lymph node rupturing.

Hi Janet - any update? I am having same issue. Pain in my right pelvic area that radiates through my thigh and leg, many other symtoms as well. I went and had US yesterday, tech found a mass on my left ovary. Doctor will call me back today. I realized my right femoral node is swollen like a grape. Not sure the 2 are related.

Had the same thing. Incredible pain. Couldn't walk. Went to ortho, gyno, emergency room numerous times. CT Scan of abdomen showed ovarian cysts and I was told one probably burst. 3 months later still pain, still lymph nodes. An Osteopath finally diagnosed me with chronic appendicits. Azithromycin and Amoxicillin were prescribed and I was completely fine in a week. Some docs don't believe in chronic appendicitis but in my case that's exactly what it was. Hope this helps someone else.
