I'm 23yrs old been on Depo-provera for 6yrs but havent had injection for about 2-3mths..I had unprotected sex yesterday and was wondering if there is a chance of me getting pregnant? Everyone reckons I cant cause I've been on the injection for so long and that it takes like a year for you to get pregnant.Anyway had my period last week for a week and i woke up bleeding this morning periods or a sign of pregnancy?? I'm so lost please help
its most likely not pregnancy because yeah you have been on depo so long and depo also has other long lasting side effests. but it might be a while before you can concieve which i know you have heard before. but since you had a period that was one for a week i would think its implantation bleeding or anything and since you have been on it so long and you are now going without birth control your hormones are probably going a little craz which will cause you to have wierd irregular periods.
