I Am A Chronic Pothead, Withdrawal Symptoms are Fatigue.. After 1 Week It Is over. Additionally, chronic weed smokers cannot enter REM... so after a week or so..you will have intense dreams...and you will sleep the entire night.. I would get uncomfortable and roll into a better position... but I would wake up briefly to reposition. After I stopped I slept better... weed may help you fall asleep, but it actually inhibits you from restful sleep. Love being high..sick of being tired.
As a guess, detoxification.... chemicals move from high concentration to low concentration. Thc stored in your fat cells...energy and thc of your fat cells is exiting...results in lack of energy

Same here. I quit 12 days ago. I go to bed 2H before, and feel sleepy during the day. Maybe it has to do with the sleep cycles having being disrupted for so many years?

I don't smoke anything but tried weed whilst on holiday in Amsterdam. I had a cake and felt so tired for the first week. I was sleep 9-12hours a day and still felt tired.
Its now nearly week 3 and I have my energy back and don't sleep as much.

Everyones been talking about being tired and feeling anxiety which I have been. But I have also felt lightheaded, out of balance when walking sometimes and dizzy and weakness in my arms, hands and legs.

Has anyone also been feeling out of balance when walking?

Thanks

I fully agree, I gave up 10 days ago. From day 7 I am feeling totally exhausted...walking dead. So that John Hopkins study comment above totally pissed me off, as I'm still in the totally irritable stage As well

Sorry this is a bit late but for anyone else trying to quit , ya tiredness even after a full nights sleep during withdrawal is normal. The physical symptoms of weed leave pretty quickly and can be minor to rough but the mental ones seem to cause the most confusion. If you're a longtime daily smoker you might have forgotten what its like to feel normal but don't expect to for 3 months. That's how long it usually takes for ones brain chemistry to totally reset/recover. I've friends come to me and say they feel fine after a week of quitting yet they're back smoking daily within a few weeks. Truth is they dont know what fine REALLY feels like otherwise they wouldn't have fallen to old habits so quickly. I speak from exp. so give yourself 3months, have patience and see how you feel then

I'm 29, I have also smoked pot since I was 13, I have had 3 breaks from smoking daily (currently 15 days without any) and feel tired too- which is exactly the reason why I end up starting again. I actually stopped for almost a year at one point. I was tired and felt regularly low, gained weight and eczema got worse. I've always been an unusual smoker though- smoking usually keeps me awake until late and helps me to concentrate on my work. Now, although I'm more motivated to work after 15 days off, it takes longer for me to complete it and have a background headache (not bad, just fuzzy) and feel sleepy!

I think we are just anomalies!
