I have overcome the loss of appetite, cold sweats, and stomach pain thank God. Now I'm really worried tho because I feel so tired. I have had insomnia for 3 days and went 30 hours without sleep. Yesterday and today I managed to get like 12+ hours total that's why me being so fatigued right now is worrying me like crazy. Could it just be to my prior days of lack of sleep? Worrying: that brings me to another point. My anxiety and stress levels have been out the f*****g roof. Constantly worrying about unimportant things.. maybe that's why I'm tired too. My mind is racing with thoughts all the time.. I'm just really freaking out I have a serious health issue because I'm so tired even tho I managed to get some sleep. Id appreciate it if someone would reply to this and say if that sounds normal or not because I'm just about ready for it to all go away: (

I think it's in your mind caused by anxiety, depression and stress. Even though you sleep enough you still feel restlessness because you're worried about life.

Many who smoked weed for the first time was fun (with friends, listen to your favorite music, play videogames etc.) it was so called the good times..some of us wanna go back to this time and recreate this atmosphere but it's different it isn't the same feeling anymore.

As we grow older time is ticking faster...because due the years of increasing knowlegde and wisdom about life, when you was a child you don't have to worry or be responsible for anything just play all day long.

I'm now 34 years old and smoked since my 15th, last 4 years i smoked so much (6-7 joints a day before maybe 1 joint) that i won't feel high anymore. So when i'm tempted to buy a bag of weed again "i ask myself why buy another bag of weed to destroy your health, waste of money and won't get stoned afterall?" thats because most people are living in their comfort zone, they're used to smoke weed its normal habit.

Telling myself all the time it's my last bag of weed, so i smoke it quickly want to start a new life, yes this is the last one im gonna start a new life im gonna do this and that getting exicted but when its finish your body is itching again like get a new bag of weed..

You know because i allow myself to smoke weed it created a lot of problems for myself. First you wanna get high to enter your so-called my own world (nobody understand me) listen to good music, order food and play videogames or other addiction. Friends and family calls you, you're in panic like what they want from me! so you close the phone or act like you're not there...from here you create isolation from yourself to others. Really don't know many jobs i have done (without certificate or diploma) everytime the same results... you got a job but because laziness or you wanna get high and enter your own world you don't show up at your work..boss call you but don't answer the phone or you say im sick (lying and making sick noises). Don't take shower for days, don't clean your room, you order food because you feel pressure to go outside to buy food. Debt increases getting yourself with all kinds of problem.

Props to people who smoke weed, still working hard, still going for their passion but unfortunately i cannot do that then just do nothing and being lazy.

I know i need to stop smoking weed and stop lying and living in illusions cause beside of smoking weed i have depression and stress for 14 years. I've right now burn-out cause i worked at my mom's restaurant for 7 years long, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, only monday free and only max 10 days free in a year. Since i moved to live alone it's like im going back to my bad habits and the problem now is im gonna be 35 years old this year. I have no friends or girlfriends, not married, no children, no own house, always alone.

I know what to do but i dont understand why i aint doing it? why i don't change my life, i also wanna make music, getting fit and in shape, making artworks and website. Already said that when i was 15 years. Im not tired but tired of life.

This is absolutely normal. I quit about 6 months ago, after 23 years of daily smoking. I had to quit because I wasn't sleeping, was anxious about work etc and I recognised the thing I loved was actually ruining my life. I will always love it, but I know life is better without. The first month is the worst but just recognise it for what it is. every time you have a panicked thought, just say "aha there's my withdrawal doing its thing".

Every time an anxious thought pops in, just stop it at source. It's hard but achievable. If you don't one thought can be an hour, a day or even a week of panic. It's just thoughts and they can't hurt you. Cannaboids stay in the system for 28 days. So for that period your body is saying "where are all those lovely chemicals I used to have". The body then goes into a form of flight or fight trying to fix it. Hence anxiety, tiredness in the day as its struggling to replace the Mj nutrients. It's all normal.

As for the sleep. That's just panic and overthinking from the above. Accept yo may not sleep, but if you don't try and chill. Again don't think about it or it causes anxiety - the real blocker to sleep. Month 2 and it starts to get better. Month 3 and you're on the road to recovery. Good luck!!!!

Hello all, 60 year old man here telling myself it's time to quit for awhile, just to prove to myself I can. Been smoking since my early teens. In my later years the frequency got greater just because I could afford the stuff and I had no one to keep me in check. I really enjoy getting high but I feel the need to quit just so I know I can.
After searching the Internet for symptoms of weed withdrawal, not a single one I came across talked about being tired...except this thread. Go figure, many thanks to all who posted, always good to know your not alone.
I'm only a week into my quit and tired is the thing that I'm dealing with the most, I think excercise is our best friend in getting thru this. Take care and God Bless.

When you been getting high, you have been wasting aaallll your energy. Your body needshop about a month to recover it's energy levels. Your levels have been drained becuase everytime you get high, your body uses up all the energy it has and then you feel all lazy and go to sleep, eat, and reapted.. you smoke again.. what goes up must come down.

Ahahahahahaha 'pot smokers don't dream' that statement is defianately incorrect.
Replacing one drug with another is not the best idea either.
I have smoked for 5 years and am 3 months into quitting, tiredness still seems to be my only problem. It's not diet related because I eat a variety of healthy food and get plenty of exercise.

It takes the body about a month and a half after qutting smoking weed to regain proper sleep levels. When you were smoking all that weed the weed was putting too much dopamine in your body, so the body stop producing dopamine at a regular level.... And until the body produces dopamine at a regular level you will be tired and it last around a month...BEST ANSWER.... To help you fight the tiredness until then work out at least 3 times a week....

And most importantly the best weed is the weed that makes you tired unfortunately, there are 3 strands of weed one make you tired one make you hype/happy and one that keeps you calm and mellow... So which strand are you smoking
