Was curious if anyone could tell me if severe hypocalcemia drop after total thyroidectomy would and could cause shortness of breath? Landed me bk in ER day after surgery.Spent 3 days in hospital for potassium and calcium drip.Ben short of beath and chest and neck pains since.Dr keeps telling me it is anxiety,but I know when something isnt right .Sick of getting the run around,any info would be appreciated.
I have recently had a Thyroidectomy and have post-operative Hypocalcemia. I also have pain in my coccyx ever since. Could this be related in any way?
