When your cherry pops there should be little to no blood. If there was a lot of blood, you may have had gotten your period during the activity.

Andrea, please stop worrying for goodness sake. You are still a virgin if your boyfriend didn't put his penis into your vagina. I found myself in a similar situation when, myself and my then future wife got, shall we say a bit carried away one night in the car and I fingered her. Her hymen didn't rupture ( As I only put one finger inside her.) We we both virgins at the time and there was a lot of fumbling involved. When we did make love on our wedding night we both knew the moment that her cherry had been well and truly popped and it was a very special time for both of us. From a mans point of view, knowing that no-one else has shared this intimacy with the person you are, well, inside, is beyond compassion.

Virginity means that you've never had sex.

"Fingerbanging" is sex.  Anal sex is sex.  By limiting your view of "virginity" to a definition that only describes penis-in-vagina sex, you're actually being really homophobic towards people who have gone their whole lives with same-sex partners and have never had sex with someone of the opposite gender.

By the way, you can get sexually transmitted diseases from people's mouths and hands.  How can you get STDs if it's not sex?  Simple, because it is.

No it does not depend. If his penis did not enter your vagina, you are a virgin. Period. Also, all of you have the wrong idea of what "popping your cherry" means. Your cherry never actually "pops." it just gets stretched out (sometimes tearing, which causes the bleeding). Here is a link that explains it:

Adding onto what this person said, some girls "pop their cherry" when they use a tampon. So your being a virgin does not depend on your cherry being in tact.

Well technically it can be lost by a finger, or two even, but it offically its not losing your virginity, losing your virginity is having intercourse with a penis... it would be like saying yeah im not longer a virgin, then a guy asking to have sx with you and saying you havent done it before... so i guess really if u want everyone to know that u lost your virginity to a finger then u can tell people that, but otherwise i would say you are still a virgin....
