cervical disc hernia c6/c7 succesfull recovery with fusion

:)Hi, I had c5-c6 spinal fusion surgery 2 weeks ago.So far so good!I have lost 80% of the numbness to left side, and the weakness in my legs has completely gone.Post surgery was surprisingly great.Had no pain from the incision in my neck and moderate pain internally,only used regular panadol as pain killer.Had trouble swallowing for about a week but is getting easier day by day.The only concern I do have is that if I make a sudden movement with my head every now and then I get an electric shock in my left leg.From what I have read this apparently normal after this kind of surgery if you have had spinal cord compression.Overall cannot praise my neurosurgeon enough and would recommend this surgery if required to anyone, providing you have a good surgeon.Hope this is positive enough.
