Good afternoon! I just want to inquire because my partner just got her x-ray result and it says "There are suspicious infiltrates in the right apex. Heart is normal in size and contour. Aorta is unremarkable. IMPRESSION: Take Apicolordotic View." What does this mean? Is it something very serious? Hope you can help me because I'm really worried. Thanks!
Hi Guest,
The apicolordotic view is an x-ray from another angle. It helps image the tops of the lungs (apex).
The suspicious infiltrates need to be identified. They are the concern right now - what are they?
She needs to follow up with her doctor.
Good luck.
